Santa's coming to town!

Our 'Visit with Santa' session are some of our favorite sessions that we do during the year. It's so magical to see the kids just light up when they see the man in red. Do you remember that feeling? You know...that feeling and belief in something that is magical and mysterious? I mean, come on...he brings you toys! I think some of our clients can describe that feeling better than we can. We would like to sincerely thank Silver Image for the wonderful job they do in not only providing beautiful portraits of our children, but also taking the time to ensure that they have fun and remember the experience. Our time with both Melinda and Cristie has been nothing less than magical, and we can't express enough appreciation for what they have done. Not only do we have magazine-worthy images of our children that we will cherish forever, they went out of their way to make sure our kids got to spend quality time with Saint Nick, even our 8 year old. When the "big guy" surprised them, the sheer excitement  and innocence in their faces brought tears to our eyes. In the several months since out last session, they have not stopped asking us when they'll get to go back and see Santa again. For us, the Christmas season can alive that day.

If the experience alone wasn't enough, the portraits are truly incredible. We haven't found anywhere else that compares in quality. Everyone that sees them asks where we have our kids photographed, and that they've never seen Christmas photos as authentic. Houston Photographer Named Gold Medalist at International Photographic Competition
Cristie Reddehase of Silver Image Photography is honored by peers and jurors for high-quality photography

Spring, TX - Cristie Reddehase of Silver Image Photography in Spring, TX was named a Gold Medalist during Professional Photographers of America's 2015 International Photographic Competition. Reddehase's work will be on display at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, Jan. 10-12, 2016. This International Photographic Exhibit is held in conjunction with Imaging USA, an annual convention and expo for professional photographers and several photographic associations

A panel of 43 eminent jurors from across the United States selected the top photographs from nearly 5,200 total submitted entries at Gwinnett Technical College in Georgia. Judged against a standard of excellence, just over 2,100 images were selected for the General Collection and 1,085 (roughly 21 percent) were selected for the esteemed Loan Collection—the best of the best. The Loan Collection images will all be published in the much-anticipated "Loan Collection" book and over 200 selected General Collection images will be published in the "Showcase" book by Marathon Press.

The level of the award is determined by how many of those four images receive the highest possible honor: acceptance into the PPA Loan Collection, which is displayed at photographic exhibitions, conventions and other photography events. Reddehase was named a Gold Medalist, meaning that two of her four merited images entered the PPA Loan Collection. In 2015, she was one of only 101 Gold Medalists.

Santa's coming to Silver Image Photography for one day only! Make sure to reserve your appointment time NOW! These sessions sell out every year! We offer two different Santa sets.

Our traditional 'Visit with Santa' set is in the morning. This takes place by our fireplace, where the kids can really interact with Santa. They can leave cookies for him, read a book with Santa, and get to sit on his lap to tell him all the things they would like for Christmas!

Our 'Workshop Santa' set is in the afternoon. This set is a super cute! In this set, your kids can help Santa make things for his big night. We have the paint with magic paint, mix up some reindeer food, and help Santa put packages in his big red bag. They'll also get a chance to sit on the big guys lap and tell him about all the toys they'd like for Christmas!
